1. Terms & Conditions Overview
Effective Date: [Insert Date]. Business: Geek2Go, LLC. Website: https://geek2gomn.com. Phone: 218-830-4335. These Terms apply to repairs, diagnostics, device sales, special orders, remote support, on-site support, data recovery, Managed Care plans, and other services.
By leaving a device, approving a quote, signing an acknowledgment, purchasing a device, enrolling in a plan, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Authorization
You authorize Geek2Go to inspect, diagnose, repair, test, configure, update, or service the device, system, or account you provide. You confirm that you own the device or have permission from the owner to authorize service. Geek2Go may perform reasonable testing before, during, and after service.
3. Diagnostics and Estimates
Some services require diagnostic work before a final repair quote can be provided. Quotes and turnaround times are estimates and can change due to hidden damage, liquid damage, prior repair attempts, parts availability, shipping delays, supplier pricing, software issues, account locks, or additional findings.
A non-refundable diagnostic fee may apply
The standard diagnostic fee is currently $75 unless otherwise stated
If you approve a repair, the diagnostic fee may be credited when applicable
Geek2Go may decline repair or service requests
4. Pricing, Payment, and Card Service Fee
Payment is typically due in full at drop-off unless otherwise stated in writing. If only a deposit or partial payment is collected at drop-off, the remaining balance is due at checkout before release of the device. All advertised and quoted prices are the cash/check price unless stated otherwise.
Accepted methods: cash, approved checks, and payment cards
Card payments are subject to a 3.5% card service fee
Geek2Go may require full or partial prepayment for certain services and special-order items
Returned checks, declined payments, or reversed transactions may lead to extra fees, collection actions, or service limits
5. Refunds, Store Credit, and Special Orders
Geek2Go does not generally offer cash refunds. At our discretion, eligible returns or adjustments may be handled as store credit, exchange, repair correction, or warranty service.
Diagnostic fees and labor already performed are non-refundable unless required by law
Completed services and special-order parts or devices are non-refundable once ordered
Deposits, shipping charges, data recovery attempts, remote support, on-site service, software work, and managed care subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law
Opened or installed parts are non-refundable
6. Data Loss and Backups
Geek2Go is not responsible for data loss. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid data loss and may recommend or perform backup support, but losses can still happen during service. Customers are responsible for keeping their own backups when possible.
Unless approved and paid for, Geek2Go is not responsible for preserving files, photos, documents, emails, software, or account data
Data-related losses can occur during diagnostics, repair, malware cleanup, software repair, or transfer work
7. Passwords, Accounts, and Access
Some services require passwords, recovery keys, account access, software licenses, or administrator permissions. You are responsible for providing approved access for the requested work.
Delays can occur from missing credentials, account locks, activation locks, or unavailable recovery methods
We do not bypass stolen-device protections where ownership or authorization cannot be verified
8. Repair Risks
Repair work may reveal, worsen, or fail to resolve pre-existing or hidden problems, especially on older, water-damaged, board-repaired, or previously repaired devices.

9. Liquid Damage and Data Recovery
Liquid damage and data recovery are not guaranteed. Liquid damage may appear to recover temporarily and then fail later. Data recovery results can be partial or incomplete.
Recovery may produce incomplete, corrupted, renamed, or missing files
Fees may apply for evaluation, attempts, parts, donor devices, tools, media, third-party recovery, or shipping
10. Customer-Supplied Parts
Geek2Go may decline to install customer-supplied parts. If accepted, we do not guarantee the part quality or reliability.
Labor charges still apply if supplied parts are defective, incorrect, incompatible, or do not resolve the issue
11. Repair Warranty
Warranty terms vary by repair type and are listed on the invoice, receipt, or service record when applicable. Coverage applies only to qualifying parts and labor performed by Geek2Go and is limited.
Warranty excludes unrelated issues, pre-existing damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorized service, software issues, data loss, account issues, malware reinfection, and water-resistance loss
Opening, modifying, or having the device repaired by others may void warranty coverage
Phone and Tablet Repair Warranty
Phone and tablet replacement parts are covered by a lifetime warranty unless otherwise noted. Batteries have a 1-year warranty from purchase and are consumable.
Batteries are covered only for qualifying defects
Physical damage, cracked glass, liquid damage, misuse, and software/account issues are not covered
Computer Repair Parts Warranty
Replaced computer repair parts generally include a 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated.
Warranty covers qualifying hardware defects only
Not covered: software issues, misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage, malware, and data/account-related issues
Console Parts Warranty
Replaced console parts include a 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated and cover qualifying hardware defects or faults only.
Not covered: software issues, physical or liquid damage, misuse, wear, overheating from poor ventilation, and data/account issues
Custom-Built Computer Warranty
Custom-built computers include a 1-year warranty covering parts and labor for qualifying hardware issues under normal use.
Warranty does not cover misuse, damage from improper use, or overclocking/power surge issues
Labor can still apply after first-year repair windows, even when manufacturer support continues
Warranty on Computers Purchased from Geek2Go
Computer purchases may include a 1-year or 3-year warranty depending on model and sale terms. Batteries are considered consumable and include a 90-day warranty unless stated otherwise.

Warranty on Mobile Devices Purchased from Geek2Go
Mobile devices purchased from Geek2Go include a 60-day warranty unless a longer term is stated. Coverage includes qualifying defects only.
Not covered: physical or liquid damage, cracked glass, drops or impact, carrier issues, account locks, and accessories not specifically included
Battery wear is excluded unless stated otherwise
13. Managed Care Plans
Managed Care subscriptions are non-refundable and are not insurance. Benefits vary by plan and can include security, monitoring, maintenance, remote support, priority support, and service discounts as listed.
No prorated refunds for unused time when canceling mid-cycle
No guarantee of zero failures, perfect security, or zero data loss
No included parts, replacement devices, liquid or physical damage repair, data recovery, specialty repair, on-site service, or software subscriptions unless listed in writing
Plan benefits may be suspended or cancelled if payment is past due
14. Remote and On-Site Support
Remote and on-site support fees are based on current rates and may include minimum charges, travel fees, after-hours charges, emergency rates, and time-based fees where applicable.
Remote support is considered started once Geek2Go begins working on the customer's device
We are not responsible for failures caused by internet outages, power issues, third-party systems, unsupported software, or building infrastructure
15. Pickup, Storage, and Abandoned Devices
Customers should pick up devices promptly after service completion or decline. Geek2Go will attempt reasonable contact before storage actions.
Extended storage can be charged where allowed by law
Unpicked devices may be treated as abandoned property under Minnesota law
Applicable unpaid charges may be deducted from lawful sale proceeds where allowed
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Geek2Go's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or product involved.
Geek2Go is not liable for indirect losses such as lost data, income, profits, productivity, interruption, missed deadlines, or account lockouts
Some limitations may not apply where prohibited by law
17. SMS and Email Marketing Communications
By providing your mobile number or email address, you agree that Geek2Go may send service-related and marketing communications, including important information, appointment or repair updates, reminders, deals, specials, and other offers. SMS or MMS marketing messages may be sent periodically, up to 4 messages per month.
You may opt out of SMS or MMS messages at any time by replying STOP to the number that sent the message. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out request

Message and data rates may apply. Geek2Go does not charge for text messages, but your wireless provider may charge based on your text or data plan
Participating United States carriers may include major and regional wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
You agree to notify Geek2Go if your mobile number or email address changes so your contact information can be updated
Information connected with SMS, MMS, or email communications may include your phone number, email address, carrier name, and the date, time, and content of messages, along with information you provide. Geek2Go may use this information to contact you and provide requested services
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email when available, by replying with an opt-out request, or by contacting Geek2Go
Geek2Go may change, suspend, or terminate SMS, MMS, or email communication services at any time, with or without cause or advance notice
18. Changes to These Terms
Geek2Go may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of service, purchase, enrollment, or approval generally applies to that transaction unless law requires otherwise.
19. Customer Acknowledgment
By approving service, signing acknowledgment, purchasing a device, enrolling in a plan, or paying an invoice, you confirm you understand these terms and the risks, payment structure, and warranty limits described above.
